Free R.E.A.D.Y. Kit Distribution List

The following links connect to county pages displaying distribution sites who have ordered and/or received the Free Infant R.E.A.D.Y. Kits. County pages also show how many kits remain available. These kits are to be distributed only to Medicaid eligible families with infants.

County quotas were first established based on the latest available data of Medicaid births by county (2002 data) and represent one year's worth of Medicaid funded births. The total number of Michigan Medicaid births (41,940) exceeded the total number of kits available (39,000). Therefore county totals were each pro-rated at 93%. To view the list choose a county from the chart below. An additional 40,000 kits were released for distribution and that supply has been exhausted. Distribution now is contingent on the number of kits sold to recoup funds for free kits.

Note: Due to limited available quantity of kits, distribution of free kits is again limited to Medicaid-eligible families only.
