  PHASE VI - Wellness Throughout the Year
M Lesson VI-1: Exercise and Rest
  VI-1. Students will explain the roles of exercise and rest in promoting good health.
  VI-2. Students will list a variety of ways to exercise and rest.
  VI-3. Students will use a chart to inventory the healthy activities they do to promote their personal health.
M Lesson VI-2: Seasonal Health Habits
  VI-4. Students will list characteristics and typical activities that may impact health for each season.
  VI-5. Students will develop a plan for staying healthy in every season.
M Lesson VI-3: Environment and Health
  VI-6. Students will define the five components of our environment and give examples of each: water, habitat, air, life, and energy.
  VI-7. Students will list ways the environment might be damaged.
  VI-8. Students will relate environmental damage to personal health status.
M Lesson VI-4: Helpers for the Environment
  VI-9. Students will name some ways to help keep the environment healthy.
  VI-10. Students will make a plan to conserve water at school and at home.
  VI-11. Students will conclude that they can make an impact on the health of their environment.
M Lesson VI-5: Negotiating an Environmental Health Project
  VI-12. Students will use the steps for negotiation in a situation involving keeping our environment healthy.

  VI-13. Students will demonstrate how to use maps and phone directories to get help and information from their community.
  VI-14. Students will develop questions that community support systems might be able to answer.
M Lesson VI-7: Influencing Others to Be Healthy
  VI-15. Students will develop a plan for integrating personal health activities into their lives.
