The goals of this module are that students will:

• understand the six character traits that are essential for the success and the well being of individuals and society.
• understand how the six character traits influence behavior and how they are demonstrated.
• understand communication skills that demonstrate the six character traits.
• apply the communication skills to increase behaviors consistent with the six character traits.
• understand how helping others demonstrates the six character traits.
• apply skills for helping themselves and others in a manner appropriate for the situation.
• assess their behavior in relationship to the six character traits.
• apply their knowledge and skills to demonstrate the six character traits more consistently.
