Original Timeline and Order of Revision
The following plan for revision of kindergarten through sixth grade was agreed upon by the Michigan Department of Education (MDE) and the Michigan Department of Community Health (MDCH).
Lessons will be developed in the following order: Grades 4 and 5, Grades 2 and 3, Kindergarten and Grade 1, Grade 6, and Supplements. This may be altered based on the availability and expiration of funding.
Grade 6 will be revised last to allow for further investigation on the most appropriate format to use. Many 6th grades are in the middle school and would prefer a module approach; others are in a more traditional elementary school.
