Note: Due to the current revision process, much the information attached to this page is out of date. If you have questions about replacement materials, please e-mail us or phone 1-800-214-8961. We appreciate your patience. There are numerous and varied materials used to support the Michigan Model for Comprehensive School Health Curriculum. In the event that one of those materials is no longer produced, manufactured or printed a replacement needs to be selected that meets the objective of the activity in which it is to be used. The replacement materials process is a rigorous one. Once a suitable material is found, that material is provided for, in an either/or option in the lesson. This option provides teachers with the procedure for conducting lesson activities with whichever material is available to them. This lesson rewrite will be included in the next printing of the Teacher Manual and an addendum will be included on this site. This page will link to a running list of these materials. It will change frequently so check it often. This list will prove to be a valuable resource in assuring the instruction of all lessons in the classroom. In addition, you will find the addenda to teacher's manual. Use these addenda to update your manual with the new materials options. To print PDF files of lesson addenda, refer to the Revisions page. In addition, there are some products that are no longer on the market which are used for optional activities and/or integration ideas. It has been the policy not to seek replacement for optional activities as many of the activities were developed specific to that resource. These items will be reviewed in the next curriculum review which is fast approaching. To view a list of the materials

Minimum Recommended Materials List There are hundreds of support materials that can be used to meet the objectives of the Michigan Model K-12 curriculum. Some of these materials are optional. Others are enhancer lessons or integration ideas to mesh the health lesson with other curricula. To simplify this situation, especially for new curriculum users, a Minimum Recommended Materials List was developed. This list is what you should have on hand to teach all of the lessons in the curriculum. To help new users, this list has been separated, lesson by lesson and linked to each respective grade level. To view a listing of learning objectives and the materials used to meet those objectives, select the grade level of interest from the listing below. Grade K | Grade One | Grade Two | Grade Three | Grade Four | Grade Five | Grade Six | Grade Seven-Eight | Grade Nine-Twelve |
