Health Education Materials

The Educational Materials Center (EMC) stocks over 530 different materials which support health education activities and objectives. Many of these products are designed, developed and produced by the EMC. Whether your choice for comprehensive school health education is the Michigan Model for Health or some other curriculum, we have materials which will support your educational efforts and offer them at excellent cost savings.

There is a recommended minimum materials list for implementing the entire curriculum as recommended by the State Steering Committee of Michigan.  

It is understood that some districts in other states will need to implement the curriculum in stages and purchase materials only for specific grades or strands to begin the first year; adding more each year after that.  If you are completing grant applications, calculation formulas have been provided to assist you.  These formulas are based on the recommended minimums.
