Lesson Title: The Art of Conversation   (35 minutes)
Learning Objective(s)

I-20. Students will demonstrate skills to initiate and carry on conversations.

I-21. Students will demonstrate how to share appreciation. 

Preparation
  • Gather the needed materials.
  • Select some posters with thought provoking quotes, or pictures of art, or magazine pictures for use in Activity 1.
  • Duplicate the Student Worksheet, Telling Someone What I Appreciate; one per student or use student workbook.
  • Decide how you will divide your class into pairs for Activities 1 and 2.
  • Duplicate the Family Resource Sheet; one per student, or use the student workbook.
