Character Education Module for Grades 7 and 8

Module Goals
- Students will understand the six character traits that are essential for the success and the well being of individuals and society.
- Students will understand how the six character traits influence behavior and how they are demonstrated.
- Students will understand communication skills that demonstrate the six character traits.
- Students will apply the communication skills to increase behaviors consistent with the six character traits.
- Students will understand how helping others demonstrates the six character traits.
- Students will apply skills for helping themselves and others in a manner appropriate for the situation.
- Students will assess their behavior in relationship to the six character traits.
- Students will apply their knowledge and skills to demonstrate the six character traits more consistently.
