MEECS Teacher Training Opportunities

Each MEECS (Michigan Environmental Education Curriculum Support) curriculum unit requires a four to six-hour training workshop. Workshops are presented by trainers trained, in one or all of the five units, as part of the training of trainers (TOT) program.

Teacher trainings may be hosted by local school districts and conducted by faculty/staff within that district who participated in the TOT events. Statewide and regional trainings are offered intermittently and Science, Mathematics and Technology Centers throughout Michigan also host training events.
